I also install htop using Red Pill mode: http://maemo.org/development/documentation/man_pages/htop.html
I found a link that described a way of being able to browse root through file manager, quite clever:
http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-7512.html
1. Start an xterm
2. insert following command in xterm
ln -s / /home/user/MyDocs/root
3. exit xterm
Though make sure you take the instructions from the following website to stop metacrawler using all the CPU:
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=978#c4
Anyone have any other programs they love to use on their n800/n770? Or any other repositories? Let me know!
